Test Background
Through tensile testing of metal materials, a series of mechanical properties such as strength, hardness, fatigue, etc. of the material can be tested. Only after fully understanding the properties of the material can the material application environment be safely formulated. The room temperature tensile test of metal foil materials can measure the tensile properties of metal foil materials with a thickness of no more than 0.1mm at room temperature.

Scope of tests
Metal foil is a thin metal sheet stretched from metal. There are two main types: red gold foil hot stamping, pure silver foil and hot stamping. The room temperature tensile test method is suitable for metal foils with a thickness of no more than 0.1mm at room temperature.
Test method
1. At room temperature, apply tensile force to the foil sample, usually until it breaks, and measure the yield strength, specified plastic extension strength, specified total extension strength, tensile strength, and elongation after break of the foil.
2. Unless otherwise specified, the test is generally conducted at room temperature within the range of 10°C to 35°C. For tests with strict temperature requirements, the test temperature should be 23℃±5℃.
