Test Background

One of the main indicators of concrete quality is compressive strength. From the concrete strength expression, it is easy to see that the compressive strength of concrete is proportional to the strength of the cement used in concrete. Calculated according to the formula, when the water-cement ratio is equal, the compressive strength of concrete prepared with high-grade cement is much higher than that of low-grade cement. Test method

1. Use the side surface during molding as the upper and lower pressure-bearing surfaces. Place the specimen securely on the lower pressure plate, align the geometric centers of the upper and lower pressure plates, and start the testing machine. When the upper pressure plate is close to the surface of the specimen, adjust the spherical seat to balance the contact.
2. Load continuously and evenly at a loading rate of 0.5 MPa/s~0.8 MPa/s (higher concrete strength levels require higher loading rates) until the specimen is damaged, and record the damage load.
