The mechanical durability test of building sunshade products can determine the ability of building sunshade products to survive multiple extensions and retractions, opening and closing, without damage (such as cracks, panel or fabric damage, local yielding, connection failure, etc.) and functional impairment (such as operational dysfunction, loose hardware, etc.).

Test method
According to the operation mode of the sunshade product, the normal operation of the sunshade product is simulated through the test equipment, and a certain number of repeated operation tests are performed on it, and the performance of the sample before and after the test is compared to determine whether its mechanical durability meets the requirements.
1. For sunshade louvers or panels, the opening and closing test should be carried out in the fully extended position according to the prescribed number of cycles.
2. For products with linkage operation, the entire process of stretching and retracting, opening and closing should be tested first according to the specified number of cycles, and then the opening and closing test for the remaining number of cycles should be conducted in the fully expanded position of the product.
3. For products whose extension and retraction, opening and closing are operated by two devices respectively, the extension and retraction test should be carried out first, and then the opening and closing test should be carried out according to the specified number of cycles.
