Test Background
The wire rope tension test can conduct a tension test on the rigging or its representative sample under a predetermined load to assess the static mechanical properties of the rigging; on the axial fatigue testing machine, perform a dynamic tensile test on the rigging sample with the prescribed alternating load and frequency.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability of reliability testing of various steel wires and steel wire products, and provides professional tensile testing services for steel wire ropes.
Scope of tests
Steel wire rope slings mainly include pressed slings, cast slings, plugged slings, braided slings, ring slings, clamping slings, wedge slings, steel column joint consolidation slings, composite slings and other types.
Test method
1. The test environment temperature of wire rope slings should be maintained at 5 ℃ ~ 40 ℃.
2. The tensile test of wire rope slings should be carried out on a coaxial tensile device. The fixed point must not rotate to cause the wire rope to untwist or twist.
3. When the ring rigging is subjected to a tensile test, the diameter of the pin must comply with the regulations. If necessary, bushings matching the diameter of the wire rope can be installed.
4. Static tension test of rigging: breaking tension test of rigging and non-destructive verification test.
