Test Background
Bending tests can be used to test the performance of materials under bending loads, because many steel wires and steel wire products (such as knives made of brittle materials, etc.) work in a bending state, and bend tests need to be performed on these parts. The bending test of steel wires and steel wire products can determine their bending properties.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability of reliability testing of various steel wires and steel wire products, and provides professional bending test services for steel wires and steel wire products.
Scope of tests
is suitable for cold-worked steel wires, annealed steel wires, quenched and tempered steel wires and coated steel wires with constant cross-section (circular or special-shaped).
Test method
1. One-way bending test The one-way bending test should be performed in accordance with GB/T 232. The test is carried out according to the mandrel diameter and bending angle specified in the standard. Specific requirements are based on relevant product standards.
2. Repeated bending test The repeated bending test should be performed in accordance with GB/T238. There are the following regulations for automatic counters: If the testing machine has an automatic counter, start running in the vertical position, bend 90° for the first time, and then return to the starting position as the first bend.
Then bend in the opposite direction continuously and repeatedly without interruption. The last number obtained before fracture occurs is the number of bends.
