Test Background
The steel mesh is manufactured by a fully automatic intelligent production line. Mesh size and steel bar specifications and quality are strictly controlled. At the same time, it also avoids the occurrence of manual omissions, mistakes and cutting corners. The mesh has high stiffness, good elasticity, even spacing and is relatively accurate, and the welding points have high strength, thus greatly improving the quality level of the project.
The shear resistance test of welded steel mesh can determine its shear resistance. Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability of reliability testing of various steel welded meshes and provides professional shear test services for welded steel meshes.
Scope of tests
Welded steel mesh can be divided into cold-rolled ribbed steel bar welded mesh, cold-drawn smooth round steel bar welded mesh, and hot-rolled ribbed steel bar welded mesh according to raw materials. Among them, cold-rolled ribbed steel bar welded mesh is the most widely used.
Welded steel mesh is divided into two types: shaped steel welded mesh and customized steel welded mesh according to the grade, diameter, length and spacing of steel bars.
Test method
1. The specimen should be placed on the fixture, and the distance between the fulcrums of the transverse steel bars should be as small as possible. It is recommended that the distance between the fixed surface and the tensile surface of steel bars with d ≤ 9 mm should not be greater than 0.5 mm, and the distance between bars with d > 9 mm should not be greater than 1 mm.
2. The tensile force exerted on the tensile steel bar has a stress rate between 6 N/mm2 and 60 N/mm2.
3. The arbitration test should use the specified fixture.
4. The type of fixture used should be indicated in the test report.
