Tensile test of reinforcement welded mesh

Tensile test of reinforcement welded mesh-Mechanical Testing-

Test Background

Welded steel mesh for reinforced concrete is a steel mesh made in factories and welded with cold-rolled ribbed steel bars or cold-rolled smooth round steel bars. Welded steel mesh for reinforced concrete is a good and efficient material for concrete matching.
Its emergence is of great significance for improving construction efficiency, structural quality, safety and reliability, and changing traditional construction methods. It can be used for reinforcement of reinforced concrete structures and ordinary steel bars of prestressed concrete structures. The tensile test of welded steel mesh determines its tensile properties.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability of reliability testing of various steel welded meshes and provides professional tensile testing services for welded steel meshes.

Scope of tests

According to the raw materials, welded steel mesh can be divided into: cold-rolled ribbed steel welded mesh, cold-drawn smooth round steel welded mesh, hot-rolled ribbed steel welded mesh, among which cold-rolled ribbed steel welded mesh is the most widely used. Welded steel mesh is divided into two types: shaped steel welded mesh and customized steel welded mesh according to the grade, diameter, length and spacing of steel bars.

Test method

1. The experiment should generally be conducted at room temperature within the range of 10°C to 35°C.
2. For the clamping method, appropriate clamps for clamping steel bars should be used to clamp the specimen, and ensure that the clamped specimen is subject to axial tension to minimize bending. At the same time, ensure the relative stability of the sample during the test.
3. You can choose the specified method for the test rate.
4. The tensile strength and yield strength are measured according to the requirements. For steel bars that clearly have no yield strength, the specified non-proportional extension strength should be used as the characteristic value of the yield strength.
