Company Profile
The drop weight tear test is a test item used to detect the toughness of materials. It is mainly used to study the low-temperature brittleness of metal materials. The goal is to establish the relationship between fracture morphology and temperature. The drop weight tear test is one of the important means to evaluate the intrinsic quality of wire steel plates. By rapidly breaking a full-section steel plate sample at one time, the metallurgical defects, fracture properties, morphology and other characteristics are observed from the fracture surface to comprehensively evaluate the metallurgical quality and fracture resistance.
The steel drop weight tear test can use a drop weight or pendulum of a certain height to break the sample in a simply supported beam state at one time, and evaluate the relevant performance results.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability of reliability testing of various steel materials and provides professional drop weight tear testing services for steel materials.
