Test Background
The purpose of vibration test standards is to improve product reliability, simulate the impact of transportation and use environment on products, determine whether the product structure, process and component installation methods are reasonable, and ensure the quality and expected life of the complete machine batch product. The random vibration test of road vehicle lamps determines the random vibration resistance of exterior lighting and light signaling devices on motor vehicles and trailers.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the ability to test the environmental durability of various lighting devices, and provides professional random vibration testing services for external lighting and optical signaling devices of road vehicles.
Scope of tests
Vehicle front lights include: low beam, high beam, front position lights, daytime running lights, front turn lights, front fog lights, corner lights, side turn lights, parking lights;
Vehicle rear lights include: brake lights, rear position lights, rear turn lights, reversing lights, rear fog lights, rear retroreflectors, high-mounted brake lights, license plate lights;
Common lights for large vehicles include: front profile lights, rear profile lights, side marker lights, reflective logos, and tail sign boards.
Test method
1. Check the light distribution performance of the sample before and after the test.
2. The test consists of 2 cycles. For N and O category vehicle devices, the test duration for each vibration direction is 30 h; for M category vehicle devices, the test duration for each vibration direction is 7 h. The vibration directions are up and down as the basic directions, and the left, right and front and back directions are selected as agreed.
3. Result determination: Except for allowing damage to the filament bulb, the visual inspection sample should be free of cracks, damage and misalignment. Light distribution performance should comply with relevant standards.
