Test Background
Non-woven fabrics, that is, non-woven fabrics or non-woven fabrics, refer to directional or randomly arranged fibers that are combined with each other through friction, cohesion, or adhesion, or a combination of these methods to make sheets, webs, or batts. It does not include paper, woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, tufted fabrics, and wet felt felt products. The nonwoven tensile test can measure the tensile elasticity of nonwoven fabrics.

Scope of tests
1. Nonwovens are divided into disposable application nonwovens and durable nonwovens according to application requirements.
2. Nonwovens are divided according to the production process: spunlaced nonwovens, heat-sealed nonwovens, pulp airlaid nonwovens, wet nonwovens, spunbond nonwovens, meltblown nonwovens, needle punched nonwovens, stitchbonded nonwovens, and hydrophilic nonwovens.
3. Nonwovens are divided according to their application scope: geosynthetic materials, nonwoven filter materials, medical and health nonwovens, agricultural nonwovens, clothing nonwovens, home decoration, daily necessities and packaging materials, etc.
Test method
Use a constant velocity elongation (CRE) tester to stretch the sample at a constant elongation or a constant force under specified conditions to deform the sample. After the specified time, remove the tensile force and allow it to recover for a period of time. Measure the dimensional changes of the sample and calculate the elastic recovery rate, permanent deformation rate and stress relaxation rate.
