Test Background
Polymer waterproofing membrane generally refers to polymer membrane. Synthetic polymer waterproof membrane is a rollable sheet-shaped waterproof material made of synthetic rubber, synthetic resin or a blend of the two as the base material, adding an appropriate amount of chemical additives and fillers, etc., and using rubber or plastic processing techniques such as mixing, extrusion or calendering.
The tensile performance test of building waterproofing membranes can determine the tensile properties of building polymer waterproofing membranes. Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability of reliability testing of various building waterproofing membranes, and provides professional tensile performance testing services for building polymer waterproofing membranes.
Scope of tests
1. According to the main composition materials, it is divided into asphalt waterproof membrane, polymer modified asphalt waterproof membrane and synthetic polymer waterproof membrane.
2. According to the different carcasses, they are divided into carcassless rolls, paper carcass rolls, glass fiber carcass rolls, glass cloth carcass rolls and polyethylene carcass rolls.
Test method
1. The specimen is stretched at a constant speed until it breaks. Continuously record the tensile force and corresponding length changes during the test, especially the maximum tensile force.
2. For coils with reinforced layers that have two or more peaks on the stress-strain diagram, the tensile force and elongation of the two largest peaks and the elongation at break should be recorded.
