Test Background
Flexible porous polymer materials will undergo compression deformation when used under long-term static loading, and part of the deformation is irrecoverable, that is, compression permanent deformation. The size of compression permanent deformation is one of the important indicators to measure the performance and service life of flexible porous polymer materials.
Therefore, the accurate measurement of its value is of great significance to truly reflect product quality. The Compression Set of Flexible Porous Polymer Materials test determines the compression set of flexible porous polymer materials under humid conditions.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has reliability testing capabilities for various flexible porous polymer materials, and provides professional compression permanent deformation testing services for flexible porous polymer materials.
Scope of tests
Soft sponges, hard sponges, microbubble sponges, conductive sponges, magnetic sponges, water-swellable sponges, composite sponges, NR rubber (natural rubber), SBR rubber (styrene-butadiene rubber), EPDM rubber (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber), NBR (nitrile rubber), silicone rubber sponges, rubber sponges, rubber-plastic sponges and other sponges and rubber products.
Test method
The sample is maintained at constant deformation for a specified time under specified temperature and relative humidity conditions, and the thickness change of the sample after recovery is measured.
