Glass fiber reinforced plastic bending creep test

Glass fiber reinforced plastic bending creep test-Mechanical Testing-

Test Background

Bend creep strain refers to the strain produced by the applied load at the midpoint of the specimen surface at a given moment during the bend creep test. The bending creep test of glass fiber reinforced plastics can be measured.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has reliability testing capabilities for various fiber composite materials and provides professional bending and creep testing services for glass fiber reinforced plastics.

Scope of tests

is divided into glass fiber reinforced composite plastic (GFRP), carbon fiber reinforced composite plastic (CFRP), boron fiber reinforced composite plastic, etc. according to the different fibers used.

Test method

By applying a constant bending stress to the sample and measuring the deflection of the sample over time, the creep properties of the sample material can be obtained.
For glass fiber reinforced plastic sheets, the GB/T 1449 three-point bending test method is used to apply bending stress and measure deflection;
For glass fiber reinforced plastic honeycomb sandwich structures, the GB/T 1456 three-point bending test method for outrigger beams is used to apply bending stress and measure deflection.

Test standard:

JC/T 778-2010 Bending creep of glass fiber reinforced plastic sheets and honeycomb sandwich structures
GB/T 1446 General principles for performance test methods of fiber reinforced plastics
GB/T 1449 Test method for bending properties of fiber reinforced plastics
GB/T 1456 Test method for bending performance of sandwich structures
