Glass fiber reinforced plastic interlayer tensile strength test

Glass fiber reinforced plastic interlayer tensile strength test-Mechanical Testing-

Test Background

Glass fiber reinforced plastic, also known as fiberglass, is a material composed of glass fiber and one or several thermosetting or thermoplastic resins. It is widely used in urban sculptures, arts and crafts shapes, fast food tables and chairs, motorcycle parts, fiberglass flower pots, safety helmets, high-end amusement equipment, household appliance casings, etc.
Glass fiber reinforced plastic interlaminar tensile strength test can determine the interlaminar tensile strength test of glass fiber reinforced plastic laminates.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has reliability testing capabilities for various fiber composite materials and provides professional interlaminar tensile strength testing services for glass fiber reinforced plastics.

Scope of tests

is divided into glass fiber reinforced composite plastic (GFRP), carbon fiber reinforced composite plastic (CFRP), boron fiber reinforced composite plastic, etc. according to the different fibers used.

Test method

Bond the sample to the steel or aluminum end surface, stretch it at a constant speed along the vertical direction of the lamination surface until the sample is destroyed, measure the load applied to the sample during the process, and determine the interlaminar tensile strength.

Test standard:

GB/T 4944-2005 Interlaminar tensile strength of glass fiber reinforced plastic laminates Test method
GB/T 1446-2005 General principles for performance test methods of fiber reinforced plastics
