Mechanical tests on fiber reinforced composite bars

Mechanical tests on fiber reinforced composite bars-Mechanical Testing-

Test Background

Fiber-reinforced composite bars refer to rod-shaped fiber-reinforced composite products formed by using glass fiber, carbon fiber, aramid fiber, basalt fiber, etc. as reinforcing materials and a resin matrix using an appropriate molding process.
The mechanical test of fiber reinforced composite bars can measure the tensile properties, shear strength and bonding strength of fiber reinforced composite bars and concrete with diameters of 8 mm to 32 mm.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability of reliability testing of various fiber composite materials and provides professional mechanical testing services for fiber reinforced composite bars.

Scope of tests

Fiber-reinforced composite materials are composite materials formed by reinforcing fiber materials, such as glass fiber, carbon fiber, aramid fiber, etc., and matrix materials through winding, molding or pultrusion molding processes.
According to different reinforcing materials, common fiber reinforced composite materials are divided into glass fiber reinforced composite materials (GFRP), carbon fiber reinforced composite materials (CFRP) and aramid fiber reinforced composite materials (AFRP).

Test method

1. Tensile property test
2. Shear strength test
3. Bonding strength test

Test standard:

GB/T 30022-2013 Test method for basic mechanical properties of fiber reinforced composite bars
GB/T 1040.1 Plastics - Determination of tensile properties - Part 1: General
GB/T 1446 General principles for performance test methods of fiber reinforced plastics
GB/T 50081 Standard for testing methods of mechanical properties of ordinary concrete
