Test Background
High and low temperature mechanical testing of fiber reinforced plastics can determine the mechanical properties of unidirectional fiber reinforced plastics at high and low temperatures (-150℃~200℃).
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability of reliability testing of various fiber-reinforced plastics and provides professional high and low temperature mechanical testing services for fiber-reinforced plastics.
Scope of tests
Commonly used fiber-reinforced plastics include polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polyester (PET) and other high-molecular polymers and high-purity natural wood, as well as some man-made fibers (cellulose fibers), glass-reinforced resins and metal fibers.
It can be divided into three categories according to its molding methods: thermoplastic resin, thermosetting resin, and polycarbonate.
Test method
1. Number and draw the sample (do not damage the fiber), measure the width and thickness of any three points in the working section, and take the arithmetic average.
2. According to the requirements of the test project, adjust the high and low temperature test chamber with the fixture installed to the test temperature.
3. Install the sample. At the test temperature, the holding time is as follows: 15 minutes for carbon fiber reinforced plastics: 20 minutes for glass fiber reinforced plastics.
