Scope of tests

According to the type or weaving method of fibers, carbon/carbon composite materials can be divided into short fiber reinforced carbon/carbon composite materials, unidirectional continuous fiber reinforced carbon/carbon composite materials, laminated fabric (carbon cloth overlapping or raw silk felting) reinforced carbon/carbon composite materials, and three-dimensional braid reinforced carbon/carbon composite materials.

Test method

1. When measuring the compressive strength, continuously load the sample at a loading rate of 1.0 mm/min until the sample is damaged, and record the maximum damage load. After the specimen is damaged, visually inspect the fracture site of the specimen, and record the specimen's failure mode.
2. When measuring the compressive elastic modulus, continuously load the sample at a loading rate of 0.5 mm/min, continuously measure and record the load-strain data, and stop the test until the strain is 0.20%.
