Test Background
A hose assembly is a complete, usable component assembled from a hose and connector parts at both ends. The tensile test of large rubber hose assemblies can determine the tensile load deformation performance of large rubber hose assemblies with a nominal diameter of 150 or more.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability to test the reliability performance of various rubber hoses and provides professional tensile testing services for large rubber hose assemblies.
Scope of tests
According to the purpose, it is mainly divided into: threading hose, drainage hose, ventilation hose, shower hose, and wiring harness tube.
According to the material, it is mainly divided into: corrugated hose, rubber hose, and plastic hose.
Test method
Under specified conditions, the hose assembly (empty pipe) is stretched horizontally and axially on a tensile testing machine.
One end is fixed, and the other end is connected to a hydraulic device. The length change and outer diameter change of the hose assembly during the stretching process are recorded according to the required load. The various tensile properties of the hose assembly are calculated through formulas.
