Test Background
Rubber and plastic hose bending test can be used to determine the performance of rubber or plastic reinforced hoses and non-reinforced hoses when bending to a specified bending radius using two methods.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability to test the reliability performance of various rubber and plastic hoses, and provides professional bending test services for rubber and plastic hoses.
Scope of tests
According to the purpose, it is mainly divided into: threading hose, drainage hose, ventilation hose, shower hose, and wiring harness tube.
According to the material, it is mainly divided into: corrugated hose, rubber hose, and plastic hose.
Test method
Method A is applicable to reinforced hoses and non-reinforced hoses with an inner diameter of up to 80 mm. This method also provides a measure of the stress required to achieve a specified bending radius at a specified internal pressure.
Method B bending properties, including the stress required for bending, can be determined at a range of temperatures from -60°C to +200°C.
The characteristics of the device limit its applicability to small diameter reinforced and non-reinforced hoses, i.e. inner diameters below 12.5 mm.
