Room temperature bending test of rubber and plastic hoses

Room temperature bending test of rubber and plastic hoses-Mechanical Testing-

Test Background

The room temperature bending test of rubber and plastic hoses can measure the flexibility of rubber and plastic hoses and unreinforced hoses at room temperature from the point where the hose or unreinforced hose deforms, and measure the stiffness by measuring the bending force when the rubber or plastic hose or unreinforced hose is bent to a specified radius.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability to test the reliability performance of various rubber and plastic hoses, and provides professional room temperature bending test services for rubber and plastic hoses and non-reinforced hoses.

Scope of tests

Rubber and plastic hoses are mainly divided according to their uses: threading hoses, drainage hoses, ventilation hoses, shower hoses, and wiring harness tubes.
Rubber and plastic hoses are mainly divided into corrugated hoses, rubber hoses and plastic hoses according to their materials.

Test method

1. Methods A1 and A2 are applicable to rubber and plastic hoses and non-reinforced hoses with an inner diameter less than or equal to 80 mm.
2. Method A1 uses two splints to flatten the hose and measure the flexibility of the hose or non-reinforced hose by measuring the decrease in outer diameter.
3. Method A2 uses two clamping plates to flatten the hose or non-reinforced hose, and provides a method for measuring the force required to achieve the specified bending radius.
4. Method B is suitable for rubber and plastic hoses and non-reinforced hoses with an inner diameter less than or equal to 100 mm. Methods are given for evaluating the condition of hoses and unreinforced hoses when bent about a mandrel.
5. Methods C1 and C2 are applicable to rubber and plastic hoses and non-reinforced hoses with an inner diameter greater than or equal to 100 mm.
6. Method C1 gives a method for determining the flexibility of hoses and non-reinforced hoses when they are bent to the minimum bend radius.
7. Method C2 provides a method for determining the stiffness of hoses and non-reinforced hoses when they are bent to the minimum bend radius.
