Test Background
Flexible plastic pipes deform under load, thereby reducing stress on the pipe wall and reducing the chance of pipe failure due to brittle cracking. Therefore, flexibility and stiffness are of great importance to rubber and plastic hoses. The rubber and plastic hose bend test measures the stiffness and flexibility of rubber and plastic hoses and non-reinforced hoses when they are bent to a specific radius below room temperature.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability to test the reliability performance of various rubber and plastic hoses, and provides professional below-room temperature bending test services for rubber and plastic hoses and non-reinforced hoses.
Scope of tests
Rubber and plastic hoses are mainly divided according to their uses: threading hoses, drainage hoses, ventilation hoses, shower hoses, and wiring harness tubes.
Rubber and plastic hoses are mainly divided into corrugated hoses, rubber hoses and plastic hoses according to their materials.
Test method
1. Method A is applicable to non-foldable rubber and plastic hoses and non-reinforced hoses with an inner diameter of less than 25 mm (including 25 mm). This method provides a method for measuring the stiffness of hoses or unreinforced hoses at temperatures below standard test chamber temperatures.
2. Method B is applicable to rubber and plastic hoses and non-reinforced hoses with an inner diameter of less than 100 mm, and provides a method for evaluating their flexibility when bending around a mandrel at temperatures below room temperature. Can also be used as a routine quality control test.
3. Method C is applicable to rubber and plastic hoses and non-reinforced hoses with an inner diameter of more than 100 mm (including 100 mm). This method gives a method for measuring the stiffness of hoses and unreinforced hoses at temperatures below room temperature. This method is only applicable to non-collapsible hoses and non-reinforced hoses.
