Test Background
Dip cord is the main skeleton material of rubber products such as tires and hoses. It is mainly used under dynamic conditions, so its fatigue resistance is one of its key properties. The dipped cord reciprocating flexural fatigue test is a test method established using the reciprocating flexural fatigue method to examine the fatigue resistance of dipped fiber cords after rubber vulcanization, to characterize the fatigue resistance of dipped fiber cords under similar conditions.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability to test the reliability performance of various dipped cords and provides professional reciprocating flexural fatigue test services for dipped cords.
Scope of tests
is suitable for testing the fatigue resistance of dipped polyester (polyester) cords and dipped polyamide (nylon) cords. It can also be used for testing the fatigue resistance of dipped polyester yarns, cords and dipped polyamide yarns and cords.
Test method
1. The reciprocating flexural fatigue test is a method for measuring the fatigue resistance of the cord after the dipped cord sample has a bending radius greater than the minimum radius of curvature and under certain load conditions, passing through two freely rotating guide rollers A and B, which reciprocate upward and downward at the same time, causing the cord to undergo reciprocating bending fatigue.
2. The fatigue resistance of cords can be expressed by the number of reciprocating flexural fatigues when each cord breaks, or by the fracture strength retention rate of the cords subjected to a certain number of reciprocating flexural fatigues.
