Test Background
Dip cord is the main skeleton material of rubber products such as tires and hoses. It is mainly used under dynamic conditions, so its fatigue resistance is one of its key properties. The dipped cord belt flexural fatigue test is a test method established using the belt flexural fatigue method to examine the fatigue resistance of dipped fiber cords after rubber vulcanization, to characterize the fatigue resistance of dipped fiber cords under similar conditions.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability to test the reliability performance of various dipped cords and provides professional belt flexural fatigue testing services for dipped cords.
Scope of tests
is suitable for testing the fatigue resistance of dipped cords made of synthetic fibers. It can also be used to test the fatigue resistance of dipped skeleton materials such as dipped cords and dipped canvas made of synthetic fibers.
Test method
1. A belt-shaped rubber sample made by vulcanizing the dipped cord and rubber is repeatedly flexed according to the set test conditions using a belt flexure testing machine to simulate the repeated fatigue process of the cord itself and the relationship between the rubber and the cord when the dipped cord is used in rubber products such as tires.
2. Use a tensile testing machine to test the adhesion and peeling force between the rubber and the cord of the sample after flexural fatigue and the rubber coverage on the surface of the fatigue area.
3. Use a tensile testing machine to test the breaking strength value of the dipped cord peeled off after fatigue testing. The ratio of the breaking strength value to the breaking strength value of the dipped cord peeled off from the comparison sample without flexural fatigue is the fracture strength retention rate of the dipped cord before and after flexing.
4. Use the fracture strength retention rate after fatigue, the adhesive peel force, and the rubber coverage rate to characterize the flexural fatigue performance of the dipped cord belt.
