Test Background
At low temperatures, due to the drastic slowdown of the relaxation process of vulcanized rubber, the hardness, modulus and intramolecular friction increase, and the elasticity decreases significantly, resulting in a decrease in the working ability of rubber products, especially under dynamic conditions. The vulcanized rubber tensile cold resistance test can determine the cold resistance of rubber products under low temperature tensile conditions.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the ability to test the reliability performance of various vulcanized rubbers and provides professional tensile and cold resistance testing services for vulcanized rubber.
Scope of tests
In terms of its vulcanization method, vulcanized rubber can be roughly divided into:
(1) Flat vulcanizing machine vulcanization: flat tapes such as conveyor belts and transmission belts;
(2) Vulcanizing tank vulcanization: rubber hoses, rubber rollers, rubber shoes, air bags, rubber strips, tapes, drum lagging, pipe linings, cables, etc.;
(3) Continuous vulcanization: sealing strips, pure rubber hoses, wires and cables, etc.;
Test method
1. This test is to measure the ratio of the elongation value of the sample at normal temperature and low temperature under equal load.
2. The following test temperatures are recommended for selection: -10 ℃; -25 ℃; -40 ℃; -50 ℃; -55 ℃; -60 ℃; -70 ℃. If other test temperatures are used, they can be implemented in accordance with relevant standards.
3. The test instrument mainly consists of a machine base, a thermos flask, a stretching device, a measuring device, a weight plate, weights, and a balancing weight.
