Test Background
The vulcanized rubber static compression test can measure the short-time static compression performance of vulcanized rubber. Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the ability to test the reliability performance of various vulcanized rubbers and provides professional static compression testing services for vulcanized rubber.
Scope of tests
In terms of its vulcanization method, vulcanized rubber can be roughly divided into:
(1) Flat vulcanizing machine vulcanization: flat tapes such as conveyor belts and transmission belts;
(2) Vulcanizing tank vulcanization: rubber hoses, rubber rollers, rubber shoes, air bags, rubber strips, tapes, drum lagging, pipe linings, cables, etc.;
(3) Continuous vulcanization: sealing strips, pure rubber hoses, wires and cables, etc.;
Test method
1. Apply the specified static pressure to the upper and lower ends of the vulcanized rubber sample, and measure the load required for the sample to reach the specified compression deformation rate or measure the compression deformation rate and compression permanent deformation of the sample under the specified static load.
2. The test conditions can determine the compression deformation rate, load and compression speed according to the performance of the sample being tested. The compression deformation rate can be selected from 10%, 20%, 25%, 30%, and 40%; 25% is recommended.
The compression speed can be selected as (12±3) mm/min or (25±3) mm/min; the test results obtained at the two speeds are not comparable. The conventional compression speed is (25±3) mm/min.
