Test Background
As a widely effective and most important item for judging the quality of rubber materials, tensile properties have become an important indicator for examining the quality of rubber. Analyze the main factors and their causes that affect the tensile performance test results of vulcanized rubber, and then conduct the test correctly to obtain credible data, which has important guiding significance for the design and production of rubber products.
The high-temperature tensile test of vulcanized rubber can determine the high-temperature tensile strength, elongation at break and heat resistance coefficient of vulcanized rubber.

Scope of tests
In terms of its vulcanization method, vulcanized rubber can be roughly divided into:
1) Flat vulcanizing machine vulcanization: flat tapes such as conveyor belts and transmission belts;
2) Vulcanizing tank vulcanization: rubber hoses, rubber rollers, rubber shoes, air bags, rubber strips, tapes, roller coatings, pipe linings, cables, etc.;
3) Continuous vulcanization: sealing strips, pure rubber hoses, wires and cables, etc.
Test method
The dumbbell-shaped or ring-shaped standard specimen is stretched on a tensile testing machine that moves at a constant speed. Record the tensile force applied and the elongation as required while the specimen is being stretched without interruption or when it breaks.
There are many testing factors that affect the tensile properties of rubber:
One is the sample preparation process of the open mill tensile test piece;
The second is the storage time of the test piece after vulcanization; the third is the conditions of the sample, such as thickness, temperature, etc.
