Military equipment vibration test

Military equipment vibration test-Mechanical Testing-

Test Background

Vibrations cause dynamic displacements of military equipment and its internal structures. These dynamic displacements and corresponding velocities and accelerations may cause or aggravate structural fatigue and mechanical wear of structures, components and parts. In addition, dynamic displacement can also cause collision/functional damage to components. Some typical phenomena caused by vibration problems include: wire wear, loose fasteners/components, intermittent electrical contact; electrical short circuit, seal failure; component failure, optical or mechanical imbalance, etc.
Military equipment vibration testing can measure the vibration environment adaptability of various military equipment and determine whether the equipment can withstand the superposition of vibration and other environmental factors during the life cycle and work normally.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capabilities of climatic environment testing and mechanical environment testing of various military equipment, and provides professional vibration testing services for military equipment.

Scope of tests

Field engineering machinery, river crossing equipment, three defenses (anti-nuclear, anti-chemical, anti-biological weapons) equipment, communication command equipment, reconnaissance and detection equipment, radar, sonar, electronic countermeasures equipment, intelligence processing equipment, military electronic computers, auxiliary aircraft, service ships, military surveying and mapping equipment, meteorological support equipment, military vehicles and camouflage equipment and other military equipment.

Test method

1. General vibration is applicable to those cases where the test piece is fixed on the vibration table, and the vibration acts on the test piece through the fixture/specimen interface. Depending on the test requirements, steady-state vibration or transient vibration can be applied.
2. Bulk cargo transportation is used for equipment transported by trucks, trailers or crawlers and is not fixedly installed (bundled) to the transportation vehicle. The test value cannot be tailored and represents the transport vibration experienced by bulk parts when military vehicles pass through harsh roads.
3. Large component transportation: Used to reproduce the vibration and shock environment experienced by large components installed or transported on wheeled or tracked vehicles. It is suitable for large equipment or cargo piles that account for a high proportion of the vehicle's total mass, as well as equipment that becomes an integral part of the vehicle's interior.
4. The hanging flight and free flight of the combined aircraft external plug are used for the hanging flight and free flight of the aircraft external plug on fixed-wing aircraft, as well as the free flight of ground or sea-launched missiles.
