Test Background
The tensile property test of dipped aramid yarn can measure the tensile properties such as breaking strength, breaking elongation, constant elongation load, constant load elongation, breaking strength variation coefficient, breaking elongation variation coefficient, elastic modulus and other tensile properties of dipped aramid yarn for rubber products, cords and cords.
Zhongke Testing and Reliability Experiment Center has the capabilities of environmental testing and reliability performance testing of various dipped aramid yarns, and provides professional tensile performance testing services for dipped aramid yarns, cords and cords.
Scope of tests
1. Aramid fiber-impregnated fabric is a new high-grade insulation material used on large motors.
2. Rubber-impregnated hard cords are mainly used for cutting V-belts, multi-wedge V-belts, agricultural machinery V-belts, petroleum machine belts, etc.
3. Multi-layer rubber-impregnated cords are bonded with rubber and play a role in enhancing the overall strength of the tire and stabilizing the tire casing.
Test method
Under the specified test conditions, the balanced dipped aramid yarn, cord and cord samples are fixed and clamped on a constant velocity elongation (CRE) tensile testing machine, and tensile force is applied to the sample at a constant stretching speed until the sample breaks.
The tensile property data such as breaking strength, constant elongation load, constant load elongation, breaking elongation, breaking strength variation coefficient, breaking elongation variation coefficient, elastic modulus, etc. are directly read from the tensile testing machine or calculated.
