Test Background

The tensile property test of rubber-impregnated canvas can be used to test the tensile properties of rubber-impregnated canvas made of fibers into specimens of a certain size, such as breaking strength, elongation at break, and elongation under constant load. It is suitable for testing the tensile properties of rubber-impregnated canvas made of fibers.
Zhongke Testing and Reliability Experiment Center has the capabilities of environmental testing and reliability performance testing of various rubber-impregnated canvases, and provides professional tensile performance testing services for rubber-impregnated canvas.

Scope of tests

Cotton dipped canvas, linen dipped canvas, cotton dipped canvas, polyester dipped canvas, aramid dipped canvas, etc., used for rubber air beds, water beds, tightening cloth for yachts, and base fabric materials for the production of abrasive cloth and abrasive belts.

Test method

Under the specified test conditions, the rubber-impregnated canvas sample is clamped and fixed on a constant velocity elongation (CRE) type tensile testing machine, and tensile force is applied to the sample at a constant tensile speed until the sample breaks.
The tensile property data such as breaking strength, breaking elongation, and constant load elongation of the sample can be directly read from the tensile testing machine or calculated.
