Test Background
Repeated bending test is a test to measure the mechanical properties of materials when subjected to bending load. It is one of the basic methods for testing the mechanical properties of materials. The repeated bending test of metal materials can determine the ability of metal sheets and thin strips with a thickness equal to or less than 3 mm to undergo repeated bending plastic deformation.

Scope of tests
1. Classification by thickness: thin plate, medium plate, thick plate, extra thick plate

Test method
1. The repeated bending test is a repeated bending test in which one end of the rectangular cross-section specimen is fixed, bent 90° around a cylindrical support wheel with a specified radius, and then bent in the opposite direction.
2. The test should generally be conducted within the room temperature range of 10 ℃ ~ 35 ℃. For tests with strict temperature requirements, the test temperature should be 23 ℃ ± 5 ℃.
3. With the bending arm in a vertical position, clamp the lower end of the sample and the upper end of the sample passes through the slit of the lever. Bend the specimen 90° to the right (left) from the starting position, and then return to the starting position as the first bend. Then bend 90° to the left (right) from the starting position, and then return to the starting position as the second bend. Repeated bending is performed continuously in this order.
