Test Background
Tensile properties are the main performance of exterior wall insulation systems, because thermal insulation products are used as the middle layer of exterior wall insulation systems in most cases. The pull-off resistance test of building thermal insulation products can determine the pull-off performance of the external wall insulation system. The fixation method of the system is mechanical fixation or a combination of mechanical fixation and adhesive fixation.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability of reliability testing of various building insulation products, and provides professional reliability testing services such as pull-off performance testing for building insulation products.
Scope of tests
Inorganic fibrous products: asbestos products, mineral wool products, glass wool products, ceramic fiber products
Inorganic granular products: expanded vermiculite products, expanded perlite products
Inorganic porous products: diatomite products, microporous calcium silicate products, foam glass products, foam concrete and aerated concrete products
Test method
The foam block test is used to determine the pull-off resistance of external wall insulation systems. Pull-off resistance is calculated using the maximum tensile load.
1. Apply a tensile load perpendicular to the surface of the specimen in accordance with the method specified in ISO 29765. Unless otherwise specified or negotiated, load at a speed of (10±1) mm/min until the specimen fails.
2. Record the maximum tensile load. If the bonding layer between the sample and the foam block is damaged or the bonding layer between the foam block and the wood board is damaged, the test results will be invalid.
