Test Background
Collision is a mechanical damage environment that marine instruments often encounter during storage, transportation and use. The classification of standard test procedures and severity levels can effectively trigger instrument failures and implement improvement measures early, which has great guiding significance for the research and development and production of domestic marine instruments. Marine instrument collision tests can assess or determine the suitability of marine instruments for use under collision conditions.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various marine instruments, and provides professional environmental testing services such as collision tests for marine instrument products.
Scope of tests
Marine instruments are classified according to different environmental conditions of use and are divided into four categories:
1. Instruments for shore stations: such as marine instruments installed and used on coastal stations, offshore fixed platforms and islands.
2. Instruments for ships and buoys: such as marine instruments used on various types of ships, buoys and other mobile offshore platforms.
3. Underwater instruments: such as marine instruments or sensors used in seawater.
4. Satellite and aeronautical instruments: The environmental testing of such instruments should adopt other environmental testing standards based on the characteristics of the environmental conditions in which they are used.
Test method
1. Crash tests are used to carry out repetitive, small-volume, long-term stimulus tests.
2. The test sample should be rigidly fixed on the collision system in an unpackaged, unpowered and ready state.
3. Unless otherwise specified, it should generally be carried out 1,000 times in the direction vertical to the table.
4. External cables, hoses, etc. connected to the test sample should be of sufficient length and must not hinder the rebound impact phenomenon during the test.
5. During the test, the test sample should be in working condition for at least 1/2 of the time.
