Airborne equipment pressure test

Airborne equipment pressure test-Mechanical Testing-

Test Background

The purpose of the pressure test of aircraft airborne equipment is to determine the adaptability of airborne equipment to the pressure environment and its changing process. Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the environmental testing capabilities for various aircraft airborne equipment, and provides professional environmental testing services such as pressure testing, sand and dust testing, mold testing, and salt spray testing for aircraft airborne equipment.

Type of test

Altitude pressure tests are divided into three categories, namely low pressure test, decompression test and overpressure test.
The decompression test is mainly suitable for: equipment installed in the pressurized area of the aircraft that is required to work during and after emergency pressure reduction (such as communications, flight instrument systems and flight control equipment), equipment installed with high-voltage electrical/electronic circuits (such as displays), and equipment installed in part of the pressurized area;
The overpressure test is mainly applicable to equipment installed in the pressurized area to determine whether the equipment can withstand the cabin overpressure caused by routine aircraft pressurization system tests.

Test pressure

Low pressure test: The test pressures of various types of equipment are different.
Decompression test: Starting pressure: 75.26 kPa (corresponding altitude is 2400 m); final pressure: equivalent pressure at the maximum flight altitude of the aircraft.
Overpressure test: Overpressure pressure: 170kPa (equivalent height is -4752 m).
