Vibration test of airborne equipment

Vibration test of airborne equipment-Mechanical Testing-

Test Background

The purpose of the aircraft airborne equipment vibration test is to verify whether the airborne equipment can meet its functional performance when subjected to the vibration environment encountered by the aircraft in normal operating conditions. Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the environmental testing capabilities for various aircraft airborne equipment, and provides professional environmental testing services such as vibration testing, sand and dust testing, mold testing, and salt spray testing for aircraft airborne equipment.

Scope of tests

is suitable for equipment installed on fixed-wing propeller aircraft, fixed-wing turbine, turbofan and propeller fan jet aircraft and helicopters.

Type of test

Vibration test types are divided into standard vibration test, enhanced vibration test and short-term high-level vibration test. For equipment on fixed-wing aircraft, either standard vibration tests or enhanced vibration tests can be performed. Whether short-term high-level vibration tests are required depends on the equipment performance requirements. For equipment on helicopters, only enhanced vibration testing can be performed.
1. Standard vibration test The standard vibration test of fixed-wing aircraft is used to verify whether the equipment can meet its functional performance requirements when subjected to the vibration environment encountered by the aircraft in normal operating conditions.
2. Enhanced vibration test The enhanced vibration test is used to verify whether the equipment can work satisfactorily during functional vibration and whether it can continue to work satisfactorily after experiencing endurance vibration levels. It comprehensively verifies the functional performance and structural integrity of the device.
3. Short-term high-magnitude vibration test: When the engine fan blade is damaged, the fixed-wing aircraft will experience abnormal vibration. At this time, the equipment will encounter short-term high-magnitude vibration. It is suitable for equipment where the loss of a certain function will endanger the performance of the aircraft.
