Vibration test of electrical and electronic products-Mechanical Testing-

Test Background

Vibration testing of electronic and electrical products refers to simulating components, equipment and other electrical products that will undergo various types of vibration tests during production, transportation or use. It is used to determine whether the product can withstand various environmental vibrations. It can evaluate the resistance of components, parts and complete machines in the expected transportation and use environment.
Different vibration environments can be divided into steady state and transient according to their vibration characteristics. Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various electrical and electronic products, and provides professional vibration testing and other services for electrical and electronic products.

Test method

1. Vibration test
Environmental testing is used to simulate the effects of real vibration environments in the laboratory. The vibration test uses different input signals to excite the sample on the vibration table. Test methods are classified according to the characteristics of the input signal.
2. Sinusoidal vibration test
Sinusoidal vibration testing uses sinusoidal signals of fixed or varying frequency and amplitude. Only one frequency is applied at each instant. Test conditions include frequency range (band) or fixed frequency, amplitude and test duration.
3. Random vibration test
The excitation of the random vibration test uses an irregular random input signal that includes all frequency components within a specified frequency range (bandwidth) at all times. Its instantaneous value follows a normal (Gaussian) distribution. The distribution over the frequency range is represented by an acceleration spectral density (ASD) curve.
4. Mixed mode test
Mixed-mode experiments combine sinusoidal and random signals. Environments with more than one vibration source can be simulated. According to the form of vibration source, the tests are:
1) Sine plus random (SoR);
2) Random plus random (RoR);
3) Sine plus random plus random (SoRoR).
