Geological instrument vibration test

Geological instrument vibration test-Mechanical Testing-

Test Background

Mechanical vibration refers to the reciprocating motion of an object near its equilibrium position. During the process of mechanical vibration, some physical parameters of the vibrating object, such as displacement, speed, etc., will change repeatedly, which will cause certain harm to daily life and engineering projects. For example, vibration will increase fatigue and wear of components and shorten the service life of machines. The purpose of the geological instrument vibration test is to determine the adaptability of the product to vibration during use and transportation and to evaluate the structural integrity.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various geological instrument products and provides professional vibration testing services for geological instrument products.

Test method

1. Prepare before the test; check the condition of the test equipment and prepare to enter working condition.
2. Initial inspection: The product under test shall undergo visual inspection and mechanical and electrical performance testing under normal atmospheric conditions in accordance with relevant product standards (technical conditions).
3. Conditional test:
1) Initial vibration response check; perform frequency sweeps on the tested product in three axes according to the test conditions specified in the table.
2) Endurance test: According to the conditions specified in the table, use the frequency sweep method or the fixed frequency method to conduct the endurance test.
3) Intermediate testing: At the end of the durability test, the working characteristics of the tested product will be tested in accordance with the product technical standards (technical conditions).
4) Repeated vibration response inspection: Repeat the test and observe the resonance frequency. There should be no major changes in the resonance point. If there is a major change, carefully check whether the tested product has cracks, deformations, loose screws or other hidden dangers, or take other measures.
5) Recovery: The tested product shall be recovered under normal atmospheric conditions, and the recovery time shall not be less than one hour.
6) Final inspection: According to the product standards (technical conditions), perform performance testing and appearance inspection on the tested products. The inspection results should comply with the product standards (technical conditions).
