Test Background
The controlled horizontal impact test of transport packages is suitable for evaluating the impact resistance of transport packages when subjected to horizontal impact and the ability of the packaging to protect the contents. It can be used as a single test or as part of a series of tests.
Zhongke Testing Environmental Reliability Experiment Center has various environmental testing equipment for transportation packages, has environmental testing and product reliability performance testing capabilities, and provides professional controllable level impact testing services for transportation packages.
Test method
1. When debugging the test equipment, the equipment should be debugged under the same dynamic load and check device and using a simulation of the sample.
2. When debugging the test system, the power should be gradually increased to produce parameters on the partition that meet the test requirements. The debugging parameters mainly include: pulse waveform, pulse width, peak acceleration, and speed change.
3. Place the test sample at the axial center of the combined vehicle, and the surface or edge receiving the impact should be stably against the partition. The non-return load device shall be placed at the rear of the test specimen, immediately adjacent to the test specimen.
4. Select the appropriate pulse program device according to the required impact acceleration value, impact waveform and pulse duration, and impact at the predetermined impact speed. The impact speed error should not be greater than ±5.0% of the predetermined horizontal impact speed.
5. After the test, the damage to the packaging and contents should be checked according to relevant regulations, and the test results should be recorded and analyzed.
