Ship equipment vibration test

Ship equipment vibration test-Mechanical Testing-

Test Background

The purpose of the ship equipment vibration test is to reveal the mechanical weaknesses and changes in electrical properties of the design and manufacturing process of the test product under specified vibration test conditions, and to evaluate the test's work adaptability and structural integrity in the ship's vibration environment in conjunction with the product's technical conditions.
Zhongke Testing Environmental Reliability Experiment Center has a variety of ship equipment environmental testing equipment, has vibration testing capabilities, and provides professional ship equipment vibration testing services for ship equipment.

Environmental Effects

Vibration can cause: friction of wires, loosening of fasteners, intermittent electrical contacts, contact and short circuit between live components, seal failure, component fatigue, optical misalignment, cracks and fractures, loose particles or components causing system circuit or mechanical jamming, and strong electrical noise.

Test Grade

The severity level of the vibration test is determined by three parameters: frequency range, amplitude and duration.
1. Frequency range and amplitude: If the vibration environment in which the equipment is located is known, the test parameters can be specified based on the known environment. If the environment is unknown, appropriate test parameters can be selected from the regulations.
2. Duration of endurance test (or number of frequency sweep cycles): divided into frequency sweep endurance and fixed frequency endurance.
