Digital communication equipment mold testing

Digital communication equipment mold testing-Reliability Testing-

Test Background

The mold test is to test the product's ability to resist mold and whether the equipment is harmfully affected by mold under conditions conducive to mold growth (i.e., in a high-humidity, warm environment and in the presence of inorganic salts). Warmth and moisture are conditions for the growth of microorganisms, which are widespread in the tropics and mid-latitudes.
All standard general product equipment should be designed with mildew resistance in mind. Digital communications equipment mold testing determines the mold resistance of digital communications equipment. Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the reliable performance of various digital communication equipment and provides professional mold testing services for digital communication equipment.

Scope of tests

1. Divided according to business type: telegraph, telephone, video conference, fax, data communication, etc.
2. According to the transmission medium, it is divided into: wireless communication and wired communication
3. According to signal type, it is divided into: analog communication and digital communication
4. According to the signal multiplexing method, it is divided into: frequency division multiplexing, time division multiplexing and code division multiplexing
5. According to whether the communicator is moving, it is divided into: fixed communication and mobile communication

Test method

1. If the test sample is only inspected for appearance, the test period is 28 days. If performance testing of the sample is required, the test period is 84 days.
2. The test is conducted under alternating temperature and humidity cycling conditions, with a cycle every 24 hours. Keep the temperature at 30±1°C and the relative humidity (90±5)% for the first 20 hours. In the next 4 hours, keep the temperature at 25±1°C and the relative humidity (90±5)%‰ for at least 2 hours; the maximum transition time for changes in temperature and humidity shall not exceed 2 hours.
3. At the end of the test, immediately check the growth of mold on the surface of the test sample, and observe with the help of a magnifying glass if necessary.
4. When inspecting the test sample, the mold growth location, coverage area, color, growth form, growth density and growth thickness should be recorded, and photos can be taken if necessary.
