Test Background
Petroleum logging instruments include numerous electronic devices. Due to defects in materials or processes, operators' mishandling of humidity and temperature, etc., latent defects will be left inside the electrical equipment. If the original defective equipment is put into use, accidents may occur during power transmission.
Although some defective equipment does not cause accidents temporarily, accidents will occur after a period of operation, and even cause serious consequences. The high-temperature and high-pressure test of petroleum logging instruments can determine their adaptability in high-temperature and high-pressure environments.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the reliability performance of various petroleum logging instruments and provides professional high-temperature and high-pressure testing services for petroleum logging instruments.
Scope of tests
Logging instruments are divided into two categories: surface instruments A and downhole instruments B according to different usage environments.
1. The Class A environment of ground instruments is divided into two groups according to working conditions:
a) Group A1 environment: air-conditioned working environment.
b) Group A2 environment: working environment without air conditioning.
2. The Class B environment of downhole instruments is divided into four groups according to the maximum operating temperature in the well:
a) Group B1 environment: 125℃.
b) Group B2 environment: 155℃.
c) Group B3 environment: 175℃.
d) Group B4 environment: 200℃.
Test method
1. Before the test, conduct appearance inspection and performance testing of the instrument under test.
2. After passing the initial test, put the instrument under test into the high-temperature and high-pressure test cylinder; if necessary, connect the lead wire to the ground instrument, select parameters, raise the temperature and pressure to the rated value, maintain constant temperature and pressure for 30 minutes, then start cooling and depressurizing, and when it naturally cools to below 85°C, the pressure can be released; during the test, if necessary, performance testing can be performed.
3. After the test is completed, the instrument under test returns to room temperature and is powered on for testing. The results should meet the product standard requirements.
