Oil logging instrument temperature test

Oil logging instrument temperature test-Reliability Testing-

Test Background

There are many factors that have a decisive influence on the temperature resistance of logging equipment. They can be divided into external factors and internal factors. The external factors are mainly the temperature environment faced by the outer surface of the logging equipment. Since the logging equipment itself needs to operate continuously in a high-temperature and high-pressure environment, it is necessary to fully ensure that the various components inside the logging equipment will not cause heating failures. Therefore, for the internal components of the logging instrument, components with relatively small impedance and heat generation should be used as much as possible, so as to fully reduce the heat generated by the logging instrument itself during operation.
The temperature test of petroleum logging instruments can determine their temperature resistance. Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the reliability performance of various petroleum logging instruments and provides professional temperature testing services for petroleum logging instruments.

Scope of tests

Logging instruments are divided into two categories: surface instruments A and downhole instruments B according to different usage environments.
1. The Class A environment of ground instruments is divided into two groups according to working conditions:
a) Group A1 environment: air-conditioned working environment.
b) Group A2 environment: working environment without air conditioning.
2. The Class B environment of downhole instruments is divided into four groups according to the maximum operating temperature in the well:
a) Group B1 environment: 125℃.
b) Group B2 environment: 155℃.
c) Group B3 environment: 175℃.
d) Group B4 environment: 200℃.

Test method

1. Low temperature test
1) After passing the initial test, put it into the temperature test chamber, energize it, and test; select parameters, lower the temperature of the temperature test chamber to the specified lower limit operating temperature, hold the temperature constant for 2 hours, and then conduct the test.
2) Take the instrument under test out of the temperature test chamber and restore it to room temperature for 24 hours before testing.
2. High temperature test
1) After passing the test, put it into the temperature test chamber, power on, and test; select parameters, heat, and conduct performance tests at specified temperature intervals during the heating process; when the temperature rises to the specified upper limit operating temperature, perform the test after holding the temperature constant for 2 hours.
2) Gradually lower the temperature of the temperature test chamber to room temperature and conduct the test.
