Test Background
The low-pressure test is one of the links that was easily overlooked in the traditional secondary equipment type inspection of the traditional power system, and its purpose is to determine the adaptability of the tested equipment to the low-pressure environment during storage, transportation and use.
The low-pressure test of ground radio navigation equipment can evaluate the ability of components, equipment or other types of products to be stored, transported and used under low-pressure conditions. Constant pressure conditions are generally used to simulate corresponding working conditions.

Scope of tests
Ground radio navigation equipment is an integral part of the radio navigation system.
Ground equipment can be divided into three parts: heading beacon, glide beacon, pointing beacon or range finder. When the rangefinder is part of an instrument landing system, it is usually mounted on the glide beacon.
Test method
1. Low pressure air transport test procedure
1) Install test samples according to product standards and requirements. Conduct initial testing of test samples as required.
2) Reduce the air pressure in the test chamber (box) to the specified air pressure value at a rate of no more than 10 kPa/min, and maintain it at this pressure value for 1 hour.
3) Raise the air pressure in the test chamber (box) to the normal test atmospheric condition value at a rate of no more than 10kPa/min, and conduct final inspection on the test sample as required.
2. Low pressure working test procedure
1) Install test samples according to product standards and requirements. Conduct initial testing of test samples as required.
2) Reduce the air pressure in the test chamber (box) to the specified air pressure value at a rate of no more than 10kPa/min, test the sample, conduct intermediate testing on the test sample as required, and maintain it at this air pressure value for 1 hour.
3) Stop working on the test sample, raise the air pressure in the test chamber (box) to the normal test atmospheric condition value at a rate of no more than 10 kPa/min, and conduct final inspection on the test sample as required.
