Test Background
The salt spray test of fire-fighting electronic products can determine the suitability of fire-fighting electronic products for use in salty atmospheric conditions. The purpose of the salt spray test is to assess the salt spray corrosion resistance quality level of finished products or metal materials. The salt spray test data judgment is a judgment on product quality. Whether its judgment data is correct and reasonable is the key to correctly estimating the salt spray corrosion resistance quality level of finished products or metals.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various fire protection electronic products, and provides professional salt spray testing services for fire alarm equipment, alarm valves, fire communication equipment and other fire protection electronic products.
Scope of tests
1. Fire alarm equipment: fire alarm triggering devices, fire alarm control devices, fire alarm devices, fire linkage control equipment; etc.
2. Alarm valve: wet alarm valve, dry alarm valve, deluge alarm valve, pre-action device, delayer, hydraulic sensor, hydraulic alarm bell, etc.
3. Fire communication equipment: fire alarm dispatcher, fire command and dispatch equipment, fire vehicle dynamic management device, etc.
Test method
1. Put the test sample into the salt spray box and conduct the test according to normal use conditions. There should be no contact between the test specimens and no contact with other metal parts. Spray salt spray for 2 hours at a temperature of 15°C to 35°C in the test chamber.
2. All exposed areas should maintain salt spray conditions. Clean vessels with a horizontal collection area of 80 cm2 should be placed at any point in the exposed area. The average collection volume per hour during the collection cycle should be 1.0 mL~2.0 mL of solution. At least two collectors should be used. The collectors should be placed in a position that is not blocked by the test sample and avoid collecting all kinds of condensation water.
3. In order to obtain accurate measurement results, when calibrating the spray rate of the test chamber, the spray period should not be less than 8 hours.
4. After each spray cycle, transfer the test sample to a hot and humid box for storage. The storage conditions are: temperature is (40±2)°C, relative humidity is (93±3)%, and the storage time is carried out in accordance with the regulations of the severity level.
