Test Background
The sand and dust test of fire-fighting electronic products can determine the sealing performance of fire-fighting electronic products against dust and detect the impact of dust intrusion on the product. It can also detect the impact of dust intrusion on safety and disasters. Safety and disaster impacts caused by dust include electric shock caused by conductive dust, fire or explosion caused by combustible dust.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various fire-fighting electronic products, and provides professional sand and dust testing services for fire alarm equipment, alarm valves, fire communication equipment and other fire-fighting electronic products.
Scope of tests
1. Fire alarm equipment: fire alarm triggering devices, fire alarm control devices, fire alarm devices, fire linkage control equipment; etc.
2. Alarm valve: wet alarm valve, dry alarm valve, deluge alarm valve, pre-action device, delayer, hydraulic sensor, hydraulic alarm bell, etc.
3. Fire communication equipment: fire alarm dispatcher, fire command and dispatch equipment, fire vehicle dynamic management device, etc.
Test method
1. The test dust is dry, non-abrasive fine dust that can pass through a flat mesh sieve with a mesh opening of 75 μm and a wire diameter of 50 μm. Talc can be used in this test. The number of times the test dust should be used should not exceed 20 times, and attention should be paid to keeping it dry to maintain the fineness of the dust. It should be dried at 80°C for 2 hours before use. The amount of dust used for the test is at least 2 kg/m3XV (test box volume).
2. The air flow in the test chamber is mainly vertical air flow from top to bottom, not laminar flow. The airflow speed should distribute dust evenly inside the box. The relative humidity in the test chamber should be less than 25%, which can be obtained by increasing the temperature of the test chamber.
3. Put the test sample into the test box and install it in the normal use position. All open holes remain open. If multiple samples are included, be careful not to touch each other or block dust from each other. After the condition test is completed, the test sample remains in the test chamber until all dust settles.
4. During the condition test, the test sample is in a non-energized state. After the condition test, visual inspection and performance testing of the test sample are performed.
