Test Background
Mold can grow directly on or in many organic materials. Due to a layer of wet mycelium on the surface of the material, a conductive path can be formed, which will greatly reduce the insulating properties of the insulation material. Moist mycelium can also cause changes in the frequency-impedance performance of electronic circuits.
Mold on the surface of materials can produce acids and electrolytes. These substances will corrode products, cause electrolysis and aging of materials, cause short circuits and even electrical performance failure. Even glass will have its transparency significantly reduced due to this corrosion effect. The mold growth test of fire-fighting electronic products can determine the adaptability of fire-fighting electronic products to storage and use under humid mold-growing conditions.

Scope of tests
1. Fire alarm equipment: fire alarm triggering devices, fire alarm control devices, fire alarm devices, fire linkage control equipment; etc.
2. Alarm valve: wet alarm valve, dry alarm valve, deluge alarm valve, pre-action device, delayer, hydraulic sensor, hydraulic alarm bell, etc.
3. Fire communication equipment: fire alarm dispatcher, fire command and dispatch equipment, fire vehicle dynamic management device, etc.
Test method
1. The culture conditions are temperature (29±1)℃ and relative humidity 90%~100%. For small test samples, after inoculation, place the test sample and 3 control strips in a container at intervals, and place the container in an incubator; the negative control sample should be placed in the same but sterile container as the container where the test sample is stored, without placing control strips, and place the container in an incubator.
2. For large test samples that cannot be accommodated in the container, place the control strips and test samples together in the incubator after inoculation. Negative control samples should be placed in a separate, dedicated, sterilized test box.
