Low temperature test of fire-fighting electronic products

Low temperature test of fire-fighting electronic products-Reliability Testing-

Test Background

Low temperature will cause the electrolyte to freeze. Once the electrolyte freezes, the electrolytic capacitor and battery will not function properly. Too low temperature will also affect the normal start-up of electronic products and increase errors in the instruments of electronic products. The low-temperature test of fire-fighting electronic products can determine the adaptability of fire-fighting electronic products in various usage scenarios for use, transportation, placement or storage in low-temperature environments.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various fire-fighting electronic products, and provides professional low-temperature testing services for fire alarm equipment, alarm valves, fire communication equipment and other fire-fighting electronic products.

Scope of tests

1. Fire alarm equipment: fire alarm triggering devices, fire alarm control devices, fire alarm devices, fire linkage control equipment; etc.
2. Alarm valve: wet alarm valve, dry alarm valve, deluge alarm valve, pre-action device, delayer, hydraulic sensor, hydraulic alarm bell, etc.
3. Fire communication equipment: fire alarm dispatcher, fire command and dispatch equipment, fire vehicle dynamic management device, etc.

Test method

1. Low temperature operation test: The test temperature of level 0 is -5±2℃; the test temperature of level I and II is -10±2℃; the test temperature of level III is -25±2℃; the test temperature of level IV is -40±2℃. The test duration for small pieces is 2h and for large pieces is 16h.
2. Low temperature durability test: 0. The test temperature for grades I and II is -25±2℃; the test temperature for grades III and IV is -40±2℃. The duration of test samples is 72h.

Test standard:

GB/T 16838-2021 Environmental test methods and severity levels for fire-fighting electronic products
GB/T 2423.1-2008 Environmental testing of electrical and electronic products Part 2: Test methods Test A: Low temperature
