Hard rubber heat resistance temperature test

Hard rubber is a hard material made by adding sulfur and other additives to rubber and vulcanizing it. Due to the action of a large amount of vulcanizing agent, it has a high hardness. The heat-resistant temperature test of hard rubber can measure its heat-resistant temperature, that is, the temperature when the sample reaches a certain bending deformation under the action of a certain static bending moment in a uniformly heating environment is the heat-resistant temperature.

Hard rubber is mostly used to make hoses, glue sticks, rubber plates, partitions and battery cases. In addition, it is also widely used as protective equipment, insulating gloves, insulating rubber boots, etc.

1. Measure the width and thickness of the sample at at least three points, accurate to 0.02 mm, and take the median.
2. Clamp the sample vertically on the clamp, place it in the hot oven, and keep the lever in a horizontal state.
3. At the test temperature of 25 ℃ ± 2 ℃, adjust the zero point of the displacement indicating device and install the temperature measuring device. There should be only two measuring devices. The temperature sensing end should be placed in the middle of the sample arrangement area, and then turn on the heating device.
4. When the displacement reaches 6 mm, record the readings of the two temperature measuring devices, and take the arithmetic average to an integer to be the Martin heat-resistant temperature of the sample.
5. After the test, if the sample is found to have cracks, bulges, or delamination, the sample data will be invalid and the sample should be resampled for measurement.
