Test Background
The IMD hardened film resistance to moisture and heat aging test can determine the resistance to moisture and heat aging of hardened films and plastic parts used for in-mold decoration (IMD).
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capabilities of environmental testing and reliability performance testing of various hardened films for IMD, and provides professional moisture and heat aging resistance test services for IMD hardened films.
Scope of tests
Polyester hardened films for IMD with different hardness and thickness requirements. Polyester cured film for IMD refers to a cured film obtained by coating on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film.
Test method
1. Ink printing and drying
2. Adhesive printing and drying
3. Molding and injection molding
4. Result expression: Compare the IMD plastic part A left in advance, and visually inspect the three aged IMD plastic parts B under natural light to see if there are any apparent defects such as delamination, wrinkling, bubbling, cracking, discoloration, etc. that may affect use, and judge the results.
