Working environment test of electrophotographic photoconductor drum-Reliability Testing-

Test Background

The electrostatic copying photoconductor drum working environment test can simulate the working environment test of the photoconductor drum used in electrostatic imaging copiers and multi-functional all-in-one machines, and measure its adaptability in four types of working environments: low humidity and low temperature, low temperature and high humidity, high temperature and low humidity, and high temperature and high humidity.
Zhongke Testing and Reliability Experiment Center has the capabilities of environmental testing and reliability performance testing of various electrostatic photoconductor drums, and provides professional working environment testing services for electrostatic photoconductor drums.

Test method

1. Test sequence
The test was conducted in the order of low temperature and low humidity, low temperature and high humidity, high temperature and low humidity, and high temperature and high humidity.
2. Test steps
1) Place the testing machine into the environmental testing chamber, and then load the test sample into the testing machine. The test paper is also put into the test box together.
2) Adjust the test chamber to the temperature and relative humidity specified in the test at an average temperature change rate of 0.2℃/min~0.5"℃/min. After stabilizing for 4 h~12 h, start the test. During the adjustment process, ensure that the test sample does not condense.
3) The operator enters the test chamber, turns on the machine, waits until the temperature and relative humidity in the test chamber stabilize again, copies the consumption test version for 10 minutes, and conducts the first sampling. After continuing to copy the consumption test version for 1 hour (the number of completed copies is not less than 65% of the rated printing volume), the second sampling is performed. In both samplings, 5 comprehensive versions, 1 all-black version, and 1 all-white version are taken. If the relevant product standard of the test sample stipulates the test version and sampling method, it can also be operated according to the requirements of the relevant product standard.
3. For tests to check product durability or reliability, the continuous copying time should be specified by the relevant product standards of the test sample.
4. After the test is completed, cut off the power supply of the test prototype. Return the temperature and relative humidity of the test chamber to normal at an average temperature change rate of 0.2℃/min~0.5℃/min. During the recovery process, it should be ensured that the test sample does not contain condensation.
5. When conducting another type of condition test, repeat the test procedures 1 to 5 after an interval of 12 hours.
