Test Background

The weather resistance of building exterior wall insulation systems refers to the ability of exterior wall exterior insulation system samples to resist damage from hot rain cycles and hot and cold cycles under simulated outdoor climate conditions in the laboratory. Zhongke Testing and Reliability Experiment Center has the capabilities of environmental testing and reliability performance testing of various building materials, products and components, and provides professional weather resistance testing services for building exterior wall insulation systems.

Scope of tests

is an exterior wall exterior insulation system composed of base wall, fixed materials, insulation materials, and protective materials. It is prepared according to the construction method of exterior wall exterior insulation engineering for weather resistance testing.

Test method

1. Use large-size specimens consistent with the construction practices of exterior wall insulation projects, and use weather resistance testing devices to simulate changes in environmental conditions.
2. After the sample is subjected to a certain number of environmental conditions, the degree of damage to the protective layer is evaluated by observing changes in the surface of the sample. At the same time, the tensile bonding strength of the protective layer and the insulation material is tested to determine the system's ability to resist environmental damage.
3. The number of hot rain cycles is 80 times. After the hot rain cycle is completed, it is cured in a specified environment for 48 hours to conduct a heat and cold cycle test. The number of hot and cold cycles is 5 times.
